Vita Nova perform at Totleigh Barton

Arvon staff have all been basking in the heat at Totleigh Barton for our annual summer meeting / celebration with our Board. On Saturday evening we were thrilled to hear readings by three writers from Vita Nova, a charity for those in recovery from alcohol/ drug addiction. Vita Nova come on an Arvon week every year and it was heartening to hear from them how creative writing has been a foundation of their recovery. Their writing and recitation were really powerful.

In the front row of this photograph are  John and Antoinette Moat.   John Moat founded Arvon with John Fairfax in 1968,  with the first Arvon residential week held at Totleigh Barton.
