Bringing historical fiction to life

GENRE: Fiction
-
The Hurst

The American Quaker novelist Jessamyn West said, “Writing of the past is a resurrection; the past lives in your words and you are free.” Historical fiction, more than most other genres, requires writers to transport their readers to a definite time and place. This course will show you how to make your work sing by concentrating on authenticity whilst not weighing your words down with facts.

You will be invited to submit up to 2000 words to the tutors before the course starts, though this is not obligatory.

Single room price: £ 750
