Making real-life stories come alive

GENRE: Non-Fiction & Life Writing & Tutored Retreat
-
The Hurst

Turning real-life experiences and factual elements into a compelling story is one of the challenges faced by non-fiction writers. What to use – and what to leave out? How to incorporate the small details to encompass a wider theme? How do you weave the necessary facts into a pacey story without getting bogged down? During this week you will work closely with tutors whose sole aim is bringing your non-fiction story to life. Participants are invited to submit a synopsis of up to 2,000 words of their project to thehurst@arvon.org not later than 26th March.

Single room price: £800
