As well as our tutored courses, we offer retreats designed to allow you the time and space to focus on your writing.
NEW: We have just launched a dedicated Writers Retreat at The Clockhouse, in the grounds of The Hurst, our Shropshire centre.
We now have three types of retreat:
|WRITERS RETREAT||Your own apartment at The Clockhouse in the grounds of The Hurst|
|CENTRE RETREAT||Time to write, with a group of up to 15 others, at one of our centres|
|TUTORED RETREAT||Like Centre Retreats, but with two tutors available for one-to-one tutorials|
at The Clockhouse
A dedicated Writers Retreat at The Clockhouse, in the grounds of our Shropshire centre. The former teaching centre for Arvon courses has been converted into four apartments, each with bedroom, study and en-suite bathroom, and all food provided, for six-day and four-day writing retreats.
Five-day retreats at our three centres, for up to 16 writers. There are no tutors, no morning workshops and no evening readings – so you can focus on your writing, with the support of fellow writers.
