SLAMbassadors at Arvon

11 Apr 2016 / Lumb Bank

SLAMbassadors UK is a national competition that finds and celebrates the best spoken word produced by young people in the UK.

We were thrilled to host the 2015 group of finalists at Lumb Bank a couple of weeks ago.

This year’s competition was judged by Anthony Anaxagorou who was himself one of the first SLAMbassadors winners and has since published multiple collections of poetry and short stories and founded a highly popular spoken word club. He was joined at Lumb Bank by SLAMbassadors founder and master poet, playwright and author Joelle Taylor.

What. A. Week.
