Gift Aid

Through the UK Government’s Gift Aid scheme, Arvon can claim an additional 25p for every £1 you donate. So, if you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donations to us by 25%, at no extra cost to yourself.

If you have made a donation to Arvon in the past, or are a Friend or Patron, you may have already completed a Gift Aid declaration for Arvon. If you haven’t done so (or if you are not sure), please consider completing the Gift Aid form below.  Simply fill in your details and tick the box to confirm your taxpayer status.

We are so grateful for every generous donation made by our supporters and to every supporter who enables us to claim Gift Aid on their donations. Thank you!

Gift Aid it
Gift Aid is reclaimed by the charity from the tax you pay for in the current tax year. By ticking the box below this text, you are asking us to treat all gifts of money that you have made in the past 4 years and all future gifts of money that you make from the date of this declaration as Gift Aid donations to Arvon. You also understand and agree with the following: I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if i pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current tax year (April to April) than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations it is my responsibility to pay any difference. I understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify. Please notify the charity if you: want to cancel this declaration, change your name or home address, no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains. If you pay Income Tax at the higher of additional rate and want to receive the additional tax relief due to you, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tac return or ask HM Revenue and Customs to adjust your tax code.

If you wish to make a general donation to Arvon’s work today, you can do so with a credit or debit card – see our Support page to see how you can support us today.
