AJ Pearce

AJ Pearce is the Sunday Times bestselling author of Dear Mrs Bird (2018), Yours Cheerfully (2021), Mrs Porter Calling (2023) and Dear Miss Lake (2025). Her work has been translated into over fifteen languages and been shortlisted for the British Book Awards Debut of the Year, the Royal Society of Literature’s Christopher Bland Prize, and the Historical Writers’ Association Debut Crown. AJ has appeared at literary festivals across the UK, including Cheltenham Literature Festival, Henley Literary Festival, and the Persephone Festival, as well as literary events at The Imperial War Museum and The British Library. She is currently writing her fifth novel and writes on Substack as Notes of Cheer by AJ Pearce.
