Finding your way in fiction
Andrew Miller has been publishing fiction – and occasionally non-fiction – since the mid-1990s. His work is widely translated and has won a number of awards including the Costa Book of the Year prize, The James Tait Black Memorial Prize, The Grinzane Cavour, the International IMPAC, and the Highland Prize. He has taught on numerous Arvon courses (and loves Arvon). His latest novel, The Land in Winter, won the 2025 Winston Graham and Walter Scott Prizes, and is on the 2025 Booker shortlist.
