Becky Prestwich

Becky Prestwich is a writer for stage, screen and radio. Becky has written multiple episodes for long-running TV shows including Casualty, Holby City and Doctors. She wrote ‘Is this Sexual Harassment?’ for BBC3 and has several original TV projects in development. She has written six Afternoon Dramas for BBC Radio 4. As a playwright, she specialises in work with community casts and in non-traditional theatre spaces, including UNDER THE MARKET ROOF (Junction 8 Theatre), CHIP SHOP CHIPS (Box of Tricks Theatre Company) and ONE NIGHT IN BOLTON (Bolton Octagon Theatre). Prior to writing full-time, Becky worked in the participatory arts, including as the Young People’s Programme Leader at the Royal Exchange Theatre (2005-2014).
