Bill Scott-Kerr

Bill Scott-Kerr is the Publisher of Transworld Publishers, part of the Penguin Random House group. He left university to work as a bookseller but always knew that editing was where he wanted to be. He started his editorial life at Pan Macmillan where he worked with acclaimed authors such as James Crumley, Patrick McCabe, Walter Mosley and Tim Winton. Bill moved from Macmillan to Transworld longer ago than he cares to remember and has nurtured the careers of many bestselling writers as varied as Dan Brown, John Boyne, Lissa Evans, Robert Goddard, Terry Hayes and James Holland. As well as commissioning and editing his own significant list of 40+ authors, Bill is responsible for everything Transworld publishes including award-winning authors such as Kate Atkinson, Bill Bryson, Paula Hawkins and the late Terry Pratchett.
