Chris Hurford
Chris Hurford has been a screenwriter and story consultant for almost twenty years. He has writing credits on series for the BBC, ITV, Sky and Netflix including Silent Witness, Fortitude, Tin Star, Doc Martin, Ashes to Ashes (co-nominated for a Writers Guild award), Hustle, The Loch, The Great Fire and Medici. His film work includes the children’s film Molly Moon and a script about the birth of Dachau concentration camp is in pre-production. He is currently developing a series about a Methodist crime family set in Cornwall and a film version of Lorna Doone set in the English Civil War. Before writing, he worked for over thirteen years with the International Red Cross and taught English in Poland. He lives in Cornwall.
