Christopher Priest
Christopher Priest was born in Cheshire, England. He has published eighteen novels and five short story collections. His books have won the James Tait Black Prize for Fiction, the Arthur C Clarke Award, the World Fantasy Award and a Lifetime Achievement Award in France. His novel The Prestige was filmed by Christopher Nolan. He has also written drama for radio (BBC Radio 4) and television (Thames TV and HTV). His most recent novels are Expect Me Tomorrow (2022) and Airside (Spring 2023). Chris lives and works in Rothesay, on the Isle of Bute.
