Eimear Ryan
Eimear Ryan is the author of the novel Holding Her Breath (Sandycove 2021) and a forthcoming memoir about sport. She is a co-founder and editor of the literary journal Banshee and its publishing imprint, Banshee Press. She lives in Cork city. Banshee Press is a small independent Irish publisher established in 2014. The press publishes a twice-yearly literary journal, Banshee, as well as a select list of books including short stories, poetry and memoir. In 2021, the Banshee Press founders were included in The Bookseller’s Rising Stars list.
