Fiona Benson
Fiona Benson is the author of the pamphlet Faber New Poets 1 and the collections Bright Travellers (winner of the Seamus Heaney Prize and the Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize) and Vertigo & Ghost (winner of the Roehampton Poetry Prize and the Forward Poetry Prize). Her third collection is Ephemeron (Cape, 2022). She is currently working on a script about the Greek gods in collaboration with the choreographer Wim Vandekeybus, and a fourth book of poems, Midden Witch. She lives in Devon with her husband James Meredith and their two daughters Isla & Rose.
