Helen Cross

Helen is the author of four novels including My Summer of Love, which became a BAFTA award-winning movie. Her short stories are regularly published in magazines and anthologies. She is the recipient of fellowships and scholarships from Arts Council of England, The British Council, Cove Park, The University of Mumbai, India and Banff Centre for Arts, Canada. She has written original drama for BBC radio for over twenty years including most recently two seasons of the hit podcast series, English Rose (shortlisted for Best Serial Drama in the 2025 BBC Audio Drama Awards) and five episodes of the monologue Mrs Robinson, both available @bbcsounds.
