Holly Winter-Hughes

Holly Winter-Hughes is a widely published writer and multi slam-winning poet. Her poetry has been commissioned by various organisations such as Apples & Snakes, Live & Local and Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. She has performed extensively across the UK including at Ledbury Poetry Festival, for Raise The Bar and on BBC radio. Her first collection Crossing The Line was published in 2019 by Bite Poetry Press for whom she is now an editor. Holly is the founding director of The Word Association, providing performance and publishing opportunities to those at the fringes of society. Holly founded Standing Proud the LGBTQ+ writing community. She is also a member of LAPIDUS and is passionate about writing for therapeutic purposes.
