Jack Holden

Jack Holden is an award-winning writer, actor and producer. His play KENREX: A True Crime Thriller was nominated for 6 Olivier Awards this year, including Best New Play and Best Actor. Jack won the 2025 UK Theatre Award for Best Actor for his performance in KENREX. In 2025 his adaptation of THE LINE OF BEAUTY, the Booker-winning novel by Alan Hollinghurst, premiered at the Almeida Theatre. Jack’s debut play, CRUISE, opened at the Duchess Theatre in May 2021 was nominated for the Olivier Award for Best New Play 2022. It went on to enjoy a run at the Apollo Theatre in 2022. Jack has also produced award-winning short films, and in 2025, he made his debut as writer-director with his short film Safari, produced by My Accomplice. Together, they are developing Jack’s debut writer-director feature film, Man Made. Jack trained as an actor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has participated in the Royal Court Young Writers Programme and the Channel 4 Screenwriting Course. He was selected for the Brit List 2025 and has also been a writer on attachment at the National Theatre Studio.
