Jenni Fagan

Jenni Fagan is an award-winning novelist, poet, screenwriter and artist. She has published four novels: Panopticon (for which she became a Granta Best of Young British Novelist), Sunlight Pilgrims, Luckenbooth and, most recently, Hex. Her work has been translated into numerous languages to critical acclaim worldwide. She has written for the Independent, Marie Claire and the New York Times, and been on lists for Desmond Elliott, Encore, James Tait Black, Sunday Times Short Story Award, and BBC International Short Story Prize among others; she was twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize. She is the current Poetry Lecturer at Strathclyde University. Jenni is currently adapting The Blade Artist by Irvine Welsh for television, and will be adapting two of her own novels for the screen. Her memoir, Ootlin, will be published in 2023.
