Joel Morris is a BAFTA-winning and Emmy-nominated comedy writer who has worked on everything from the Philomena Cunk and Mitchell & Webb shows to the Paddington movies. He co-created the Framley Examiner and the Ladybird Books for Grown-Ups series (over 5m books sold worldwide). He presents the podcast Comfort Blanket, and went straight to number one with his paranormal storytelling series Broken Veil, beating The Archers, which is no mean feat. His recent book on the craft and science of comedy, Be Funny Or Die, was described by Caitlin Moran as ‘the ultimate TED Talk on comedy’.
