John Jordan

Described as a “magician of rebellion” by the press and “Domestic Extremist“ by the police, John Jordan lives on the edges, of art and activism. Co-founder of Reclaim the Streets and the Clandestine Insurgent Rebel Clown Army, his main craft is designing creative direct actions. But sometimes he is co-writing books (We Are Everywhere: the irresistible rise of global anti-capitalism 2003, Verso) or Opera’s (And Whilst London Burns,2007) or BBC play for today (Occupied, 2012). He lives on the Zad, with the Laboratory of Insurrectionary Imagination and just co-built an illegal lighthouse.
