Joolz Denby

Joolz Denby is an internationally renowned poet, artist and novelist. She has read her work to audiences in venues ranging from the Albert Hall, Glastonbury Festival where she performed for over 20 years, to international literature events, clubs and every type of venue possible. Joolz won New Crimewriter Of The Year, the inaugural new writer award by the Crimewriter’s Association for her debut novel Stone Baby, and was shortlisted for The Orange Prize for her 4th novel Billie Morgan. Joolz has been published by HarperCollins and Serpent’s Tail for novels, Bloodaxe Books etc for poetry and produced recordings of her poetry set to music by such artistes as Jah Wobble, Justin Sullivan and Henning Nugel the celebrated German composer. She is also a working artist who is collected globally.

Joolz lives in Bradford with a giant cat.
