Liz Hyder
Liz Hyder has been making up stories ever since she can remember. Bearmouth, her debut book for young people, won the Branford Boase Award, the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize for Older Readers, and was named Children’s Book of the Year in The Times. She has since written two acclaimed novels for grown-ups and is currently working on a new young adult book for 2024. She has a BA in Drama from the University of Bristol and has been running creative writing workshops for well over a decade.
