Lucy Atkins
Lucy Atkins is the author of five novels. Windmill Hill (2023) was selected in Best Summer Books by the Guardian and the Observer; Magpie Lane (2020) was a Book of the Year pick for BBC Radio 4’s Open Book, the Guardian and the Telegraph. Her fiction has been translated into several languages, and her third novel, The Night Visitor (2017) has been optioned for television. Lucy is a book critic for The Sunday Times and the Guardian, has judged the Costa Book Awards, and currently teaches Creative Writing at the University of Oxford.
