Matt Deighton

Matt Deighton was the frontman of 90’s Acid Jazz band Mother Earth, one time member of Oasis, and guitarist in Paul Weller’s band. His solo albums include Villager, hailed as a British folk classic; The Common Good (featuring Paul Weller, Steve White and Mick Talbot), You Are The Healer and Doubtless Dauntless. He frequently collaborates with other artists such as Kathryn Williams, Steve Nieve and Chris Difford. In 2020 Sky Arts aired an in-depth documentary about Matt’s career called Overshadowed, spanning his entire musical career to date.
