Rachel Seiffert

Rachel Seiffert has published four novels and a collection of short stories. Her books have been shortlisted for the Booker Prize and Dublin IMPAC Award, and longlisted three times for the Women’s Prize for Fiction; her most recent novel A Boy in Winter (2017) was a New York Times ’Notable Book’ and a Times ‘Book of the Year’. In 2011 she received the EM Forster Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She has also taught Creative Writing at Goldsmiths, Spalding College in the US, and the Humboldt University of Berlin. Rachel is currently teaching at Birkbeck, working with Masters and MFA Creative Writing students.
