Rebecca Carter is a Literary Agent who runs her own agency, Rebecca Carter Literary. Her authors include many prize-winning writers with successful international careers including Olivia Laing, Nell Stevens and Ferdia Lennon. In non-fiction she represents a broad range of books, focussing on exciting, innovative writing that brings new ideas to the general reader. Having spent the first part of her career as an editor at Random House, Rebecca has a deep understanding of all aspects of publishing which she uses to support her authors from the development of their manuscript to deal-making to forging long-term careers as writers. She is based between Oxford and London.
