Romesh Gunesekera is internationally acclaimed for his novels and short stories, including the Booker-shortlisted Reef and, most recently, Suncatcher, which was shortlisted for the 2020 Jhalak Prize. Born in Sri Lanka, he also lived in the Philippines before coming to Britain. His international workshops have been in the top ten lists of major UK newspapers. He has also been a judge for Granta’s Best Young British Novelists and the Sunday Times/Audible Short Story Prize. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
