Sammy Weaver
Sammy Weaver is a poet based in West Yorkshire. Her poems have appeared in the Irish Times, The Moth and Anthropocene. In 2020 she was awarded The Moth Magazine‘s Nature Writing Prize. In 2021 she was shortlisted for a Northern Writers’ Award and Nine Arches Press’ Primers scheme. Her pamphlet Angola, America (Seren 2022) won Mslexia‘s Poetry Pamphlet Prize 2021.
