Sharlene Teo‘s debut novel Ponti won the inaugural Deborah Rogers Writer’s Award. Her work has been translated into eleven languages and shortlisted for the Berlin Writing Prize and Hearst Big Book Award. Her writing has appeared in publications such as Granta, McSweeney’s and the Guardian.
