Tim Crouch is a multi-award winning playwright, performer and theatre maker whose plays include An Oak TreeThe AuthorI, MalvolioAdler & GibbBeginnersTotal Immediate Collective Imminent Terrestrial Salvation and Truth’s a Dog Must to Kennel. For the RSC Tim has directed The Taming of the Shrew, King Lear and I, Cinna (the poet). He adapted and directed The Complete Deaths for Spymonkey. For TV, he created and co-wrote the BBC2 series Don’f Forget the Driver which won Best Comedy at the 2018 Venice TV Awards. Tim’s radio adaptation of Italo Calvino’s If on a Winter’s Night a Traveller… was given a special commendation at the 2024 BBC Audio Drama Awards. He was the 2017/18 Jerwood/Arvon playwriting mentor.
