Arvon at Home: Craft of Writing with Robert Webb

In conversation with Alex Clark

Tuesday April 13th 2021, 7:00PM GMT

Online

Arvon’s Craft of Writing sessions are invigorating deep dives into the creative processes of some of the finest writers at work today. Over the course of 80 minutes, they engage in expansive conversations about different facets of their craft: how they get their ideas; how they develop characters or build stories; or, more simply, how they make sentences. Each live session includes two audience Q&As.

Robert Webb is a multi-award-winning writer and actor who initially found success as one half of comedy duo Mitchell and Webb. As well as writing for television and radio, Robert has been a contributor and columnist for national newspapers. His acclaimed memoir How Not To Be a Boy was a number one bestseller. His debut novel, Come Again, was published in 2020.

Robert is joined by writer, critic and Front Row presenter Alex Clark for his Craft of Writing session.

Please note: this session will be recorded.  Bookers unable to join the live session will be able to view this event for up to seven days after it has happened. You must book your place before the event starts in order to access this facility. As Arvon at Home events are best experienced in real time, we strongly encourage you to join the live session if you possibly can.
