Join award-winning poets, Caroline Bird and Malika Booker, for this deep dive into their craft at Hebden Bridge Town Hall. In a supportive and inspiring environment, you will explore the elements that create startling and luminous poems, including form, imagery and metaphor. You will learn how dynamics of sound and silence can help you craft poems that are alive and sing beyond the page. You will leave with boosted confidence and a toolkit of techniques for writing your own poems in the future.
This Writing Day will be fully catered, including tea and coffee throughout the day, and a sandwich lunch. Please see below for the Writing Day schedule.

There's nothing quite like an Arvon course: that feeling of learning, of discovering new things about yourself and the people you meet along the way.— Arvon Live Participant
