Masterclass: Writing the Wild Way
Zoom Masterclass with Jack Wallington

A writing day created to help writers in the early days of developing their non-fiction narrative and voice. Tutors Luke Turner and Laura Barton will explore a range of techniques that can be used across memoir, biography, travel, nature writing and beyond, including researching your chosen subject, developing character, structure, and dialogue, and establishing a distinctive written voice. They will draw upon a broad selection of influences, from poetry to novels and journalism, to understand how to create rich and captivating stories. If you’re just starting out on your non fiction journey these two experienced short and long form non fiction writers will help you find your voice and form.
This event begins at 10:00 but writers are encouraged to arrive for 9:30 so they can get acclimatised to the venue, its location, and enjoy a tea or coffee.
Tickets: £75
Concessions: £52.50
