Time to write
Monday October 8th - Saturday October 13th 2018
Imagine no distractions apart from the breathtaking views and the crackle of the open fire. Retreat to Lumb Bank, Ted Hughes’s former home, surrounded by steep woodland, wildlife, ruins of old mills and a beautiful river valley. Find the inspiration to get to grips with your work-in-progress or start something new. With all day to yourself and supplies of tea and cake on hand, you can really give your writing the time and focus it needs.
The Ted Hughes Arvon Centre, Lumb Bank is an 18th-century millowners house in West Yorkshire, which once belonged to Ted Hughes. It’s set in 20 acres of steep woodland with breathtaking views to the valley below.
