This is a chance to get real hands-on help with your work-in-progress. Any piece of writing poses challenges, but the guidance offered here will help you push on through to a successful finished draft. We will steer you towards getting the best out of your story during this thought-provoking, supportive, challenging and fun week. Participants are invited to submit up to 2,000 words of a work-in-progress in advance, to lumbbank@arvon.org by 3 May 2019.

Lumb Bank

The Ted Hughes Arvon Centre, Lumb Bank is an 18th-century millowners house in West Yorkshire, which once belonged to Ted Hughes. It’s set in 20 acres of steep woodland with breathtaking views to the valley below.
