Do you dream of writing a novel? Whether you have a burgeoning idea or a manuscript in progress, this 5-week course will help you to realise the potential of your fictional world and bring your characters to life. You will be guided through building structure, practising detailed observations, developing dialogue and experimenting with form and language. There will be opportunities for group feedback and one-to-one tutorials, as well as insight into the publishing industry and a chance to perform your work. You will be encouraged to experiment with new ideas to help you build confidence and to find your own voice. Whether you are struggling with structure or need a push over the finish line, this course will give you time and space for your novel to flourish.

Do you want to commit time to your writing but can only manage a couple of hours a week? Would you like a writing boost and a network of writing buddies? Then join us for this Arvon Evening Course which unpacks our popular 5-day online writing week over 5 weeks of evening classes. Each week, your tutors will deliver a workshop designed to propel your writing forward, with one-to-one tutorials offered mid-course, alongside tutor readings and weekly socials.  You will develop a regular writing routine and come away from the course with a whole new network of contacts and companions for your writing years ahead.
