Radio Drama

Writing for sound

Monday November 5th - Saturday November 10th 2018

Totleigh Barton

For writers who are new to radio, the concept of telling a story through sound alone may seem daunting. Come away from the noise of your usual routine, for a week that will give you the dedicated time and impetus to focus on developing your idea for an audio drama. This will be an intensive, practical week, which will include workshops exploring many of the essential practical and artistic aspects of writing for radio as well as the opportunity to have a scene from your drama recorded by an award-winning sound designer at the end of the week.

This course is half-price for Arvon 18-25 members and those in receipt of certain UK state benefits – see here for concession pricing information.

Single room price: £770
Shared room price: £720
