Starting to Write

Telling your stories in poetry and prose

Monday July 8th - Saturday July 13th 2019

Lumb Bank

Writing can be daunting. It can also be one of the most enjoyable ways to spend your time. Join these two young authors, whose works and loves span poetry, prose, fiction, fact and live touring, to explore new – and sometimes challenging – ways for your thoughts to spill on to the page. There will be tips to get you started, advice on how to shape and edit your work, as well as the opportunity to share in this welcoming setting. We’ll help you build confidence and enthusiasm for your writing and guide you towards finding your own voice, style and stories.
