Nigel Planer

Nigel was an original member of the Comedy Store and Comic Strip groups at the centre of the ‘Alternative Comedy’ movement in the 1980s. He’s written three novels, several plays, TV and Radio scripts and over 100 episodes of The Magic Roundabout for Channel 4

He co-wrote the book, I, An Actor, (with Christopher Douglas) which spawned TV and radio series, ‘The Naked Actor’ and is currently broadcasting Nicholas Craig’s podcast, ‘I, An Actor, A Podcast’.

His latest book, Jeremiah Bourne in Time is currently with Unbound.com

Nigel has co-hosted several ‘creating character’ residential weeks at Totleigh Barton and The Hurst
