Masterclasses at Arvon
You are a writer.
These Masterclasses have proven transformative for me as I can fit them around work and family. They are always so fun and informative.
— Arvon Participant
Two hours of inspiring tuition from the finest writers at work today.
Two hours of expert advice, techniques and creative prompts.
Two hours that will bring your words to life.
Arvon Masterclass: You are a writer.
Arvon’s online creative writing Masterclasses span all genres and experience levels. Similar to the workshops on Writing Weeks, you will take a two-hour deep-dive in to your chosen subject. The tutors are acclaimed writers who have been there and done it. With a mix of reading, discussion and writing exercises, you will get new words on to the page, tighten your technique, and become the writer you were meant to become. Whether you seek a creative boost, or a gentle online environment in which to be around other writers, these workshops are programmed and tutored with discovery at their heart.
Masterclasses are held Tuesday evenings or Friday mornings (UK time), so you can write around your schedule. Best of all, recordings of every Masterclass are made available to bookers for up to a month , along with invaluable course materials, so you can watch or revisit the workshops at times that suit you.
Masterclasses can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Just translate the UK time to your local time zone, watch live or access the recording later.
Every Masterclass is £35 with half-price concessions available.
