Masterclass: Nature Writing
Writing the wild
In an era of social media, podcasts and Substack, there are so many ways for writers to tell their stories. Join bestselling non-fiction author and podcast host Alice Vincent for this masterclass, in which she will share insight into how to take your story to a broader audience beyond the written page. A digital native, Alice firmly believes that telling stories across digital platforms isn’t only a means of expanding reach as an author but a vital way of inspiring new forms of creativity and storytelling. You’ll receive guidance in how to write for social media and Substack, you’ll be encouraged to approach your work more broadly and to examine your writing in a more dynamic way, and you’ll be inspired to see your work existing beyond the page. Alice will help you explore your story as something that could exist for different audiences, to isolate and amplify the most potent parts of your narrative and to feel confident in taking on new platforms.
The Masterclass will be delivered via Zoom webinar, so you can take the session at your own pace, without the pressure of having your video or camera on. Sessions are also recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you will have access to the recording for a month afterwards.
