A former broadsheet journalist, Alice’s career has tracked the changing face of online storytelling, from Twitter to TikTok. Now she has an online audience of over 70,000 across Substack, Instagram and X/Twitter. Her award-nominated third book, Why Women Grow: Stories of Soil, Sisterhood and Survival led to the creation of the chart-topping podcast of the same name and became an exhibition in The Garden Museum earlier this year. Alice Vincent’s other books include Rootbound and Rewilding a Life. A columnist for the Guardian and The New Statesman, Alice writes for The New Statesman, Vogue, The Financial Times and The Times.
