Lois Pryce is an author of three memoirs about her solo adventures in far-flung lands. She also writes about people, places and culture for various publications including The Observer, The Guardian, The Telegraph, CNN and The Independent, and contributes to BBC Radio 4’s From Our Own Correspondent. Her latest book, Revolutionary Ride, about her travels in Iran, was named as a Book of the Year by National Geographic Traveller Magazine and shortlisted for the Edward Stanford Travel Writing Award.
Lois is a Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund, working with students to improve their writing skills, and has taught non-fiction, memoir and life-writing at Arvon each year since 2015.
