Mari Hannah
Mari Hannah is a multi-award-winning crime writer. A former probation officer, she turned to screenwriting and then to prose when her career was cut short following an assault on duty. Her awards include the Polari First Book Prize, a Northern Writers’ Award, the CWA Dagger in the Library, Diva Wordsmith of the Year and Capital Crime’s ‘Crime Book of the Year 2020’ for her latest title, Without a Trace. In 2019, Mari was Programming Chair of Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival and her Kate Daniels series is in development with Sprout Pictures.
