Sarah Crossan

Sarah Crossan is the multi-award-winning, go-to verse novelist in the UK. She has been awarded the CILIP Carnegie Medal as well as the YA Book Prize, the CBI Book of the Year Award, the Books Are My Bag Readers Award and the CLiPPA Poetry Award – and many more. Her work has sold over 350,000 copies and been published in 25 languages. Sarah has lived in Dublin, London and New York, and now lives in East Sussex. She graduated with a degree in philosophy and literature before training as an English and drama teacher at the University of Cambridge. Sarah was the Laureate na nÓg (Ireland’s Children’s Literature Laureate) from 2018–2020. Her debut novel for adults, Here Is the Beehive, published in paperback in July 2021, followed by Tomorrow Is Beautiful: Poems to comfort, uplift and delight this autumn.
