Joanna Nadin

A former broadcast journalist and special adviser to the Prime Minister, since leaving politics Dr Joanna Nadin has written more than 80 books for children and teenagers, including the award-winning Penny Dreadful series, the Flying Fergus series with Sir Chris Hoy, and the Carnegie-nominated Joe All Alone, which is now a BAFTA-winning and Emmy-nominated BBC drama. She holds a PhD in creative writing, and lectures in writing for young people on the acclaimed MA at Bath Spa University. Her latest series for middle grade readers is The Worst Class in the World, published by Bloomsbury.
