Come and explore Arvon’s Writing House, Lumb Bank, during Heritage Open Day. Formerly the home of poet Ted Hughes, Lumb Bank has been the home of Arvon’s residential writing courses here since 1975.
You’ll have a chance to look around the house, find out about its history and view the portraits of writers, taken by photographer Claire McNamee.
Saturday 10th September between 11am and 2pm.
FREE ENTRY.
Tour of the house at 12 noon.
Tea and cake can be purchased during the open day.
