Masterclass: The Poetry of Care
How to write a poem when you've got 100 more important things to do (and how it can help)
Zoë Brigley’s poetry collections – Hand & Skull, Conquest, and The Secret (published by Bloodaxe) – were all Poetry Book Society Recommendations, and they have won an Eric Gregory Award for the best British poets under 30, been longlisted for the International Dylan Thomas Prize for the best international writers under 40, and were Forward Prize commended. She is editor of Poetry Wales and Poetry Editor for Seren Books jointly with the poet Rhian Edwards. With Kristian Evans, she was co-editor of the Seren anthology 100 Poems to Save the Earth, and together they founded MODRON: Writing on the Ecological Crisis. Zoë is a disabled writer; she has partial hearing and identifies as neurodivergent.
This session will be delivered via Zoom webinar, so you can take the session at your own pace, without the pressure of having your video or camera on. Sessions are also recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you will have access to the recording for a month afterwards.
