Writing workshops, games and music for all the family.
Arvon North’s free Family Fun Day will include free drop-in workshops on the hour in our fairy-lit tent as well as outdoor activities. For the adults, there will be intimate readings in our Festival tent from a host of local writers.

The Family Fun Day is free to visit and no booking is required.
Accessibility Information: There are several level or sloped access points to Calder Holmes Park and level pathways throughout.
Parking in Hebden Bridge is limited. We encourage you to use public transport to travel to The Festival of Writing where possible. If you need to travel by car, we recommend parking at Mytholmroyd train station car park and travelling to Hebden Bridge by train (2 minutes by train).
