Clare Best’s first poetry collection, Excisions (Waterloo Press, 2011) was shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney Award. She has three full collections in print – the latest of which is Beyond the Gate (Worple Press, 2023) – as well as a groundbreaking prose memoir The Missing List (Linen Press, 2018).
Clare regularly collaborates with visual artists and composers.
